Newsham House, Gloucester Update

As previously reported, a management agreement concerning Newsham House Gloucester was entered into with Lifeline Homes Limited ('Lifeline Homes') pending re-registration of the home by the Care Quality Commission in the name of Lifeline Homes.

The re- registration has today been confirmed by the Quality Care Commission. As a consequence, ADL have transferred the operating business to Lifeline Homes and entered into a 30 year lease at a commencing rental of £200,000pa.

The payment of rental commences on the earlier of Newsham House achieving a certain level of trading or 10 November 2009.
