Appointment of Director

Parkwood Holdings plc, the specialist support services group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael John Quayle as Finance Director with effect from 6 July 2009.

Mike Quayle joins from European Colour plc where he was Finance Director and Company Secretary.  Prior to this, Mike was Finance Director at Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive (GMPTE).  Mike initially qualified with KPMG and spent 14 years with the firm working in London, Manchester and Preston.

Tony Hewitt, Executive Chairman, commented: - 'I am please to welcome Mike to the Board where his experience from KPMG and then European Colour Plc will be invaluable'

European Colour Plc: 20/01/04 - 06/04/09

European Colour (Pigments) Limited for which Mr Quayle was the Finance Director entered into a Creditor Voluntary Agreement with its creditors in February 2009. Mr Quayle resigned on 6 April 2009 and the company was placed into Administration on 14 April 2009. Since that time Mr Quayle has continued to work as a full time consultant for the Administrator, executing an orderly wind down plan for the business.
