Posting of Annual Report of Accounts and Update on Cash Position

Northwest Biotherapeutics, Inc. (AIM: NWBS and NWBT; OTC BB: NWBO.US),

announces that printed copies of its Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 31

December 2008 were distributed to shareholders on 29 June 2009. An electronic copy of this document is available from the Company's website, and is also available at the registered office of the Company.

The Company will hold its annual meeting later this summer.

The Company believes that it has sufficient cash at hand to fund operations into July 2009, however the Company will need to raise additional capital to fund its clinical trials and other operating activities and to repay indebtedness in due course. Shareholders should be aware that if the Company's capital raising efforts are unsuccessful, this will have a material adverse effect on the Company's financial position and operations.
