Education Development International plc ('the Company') has been notified today, 19 June 2009, that Mr J D Slater has increased his shareholding and now has a personal interest in 2,825,000 ordinary shares in the Company representing 4.91% of the Company's issued share capital. Mr Slater and Family now have a combined interest in 3,435,000 ordinary shares in the Company, which represents 5.96% of the issued share capital of the Company.
