Further to recent press speculation, Candover Investments plc (the "Company")
confirms that a fund managed by its wholly owned subsidiary, Candover Partners
Limited ("CPL"), is currently in exclusive discussions with a third party with
a view to selling its equity stake in Wood Mackenzie Limited. The Company
understands from CPL that there is no certainty at this time that any
transaction in relation to Wood Mackenzie Limited will be completed.
