Cancellation of admission to trading on AIM

Zambezi Resources Limited (AIM: ZRL, ASX: ZRL) announces that, following a period of suspension of trading, cancellation of admission of the Company's Ordinary Shares to trading on AIM will occur at 7.00am UK time on Monday 1 June 2009.  

This will have no effect on certificated shareholdings and depository interest holdings on the Company's UK register immediately as the Company's shares are currently suspended from trading on the ASX and AIM.

The Company will effect an orderly transfer of certificated shareholders and UK depository interest holders to the Company's register in Perth, Australia.  Details of the process and what needs to done by certificated shareholders and depository interest holders on the Company's UK register will be made available in the near future and will be released to the ASX.
