MAX PROPERTY GROUP PLC

This announcement is made in accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rules ('DTR') contained in the Handbook of the UK Financial Services Authority, in particular with DTR 5 which is deemed to apply to Max Property Group Plc (the 'Company') under its articles of association. 

The Company was notified on 28 May 2009 by Threadneedle Asset Management Holdings Limited, on behalf of Ameriprise Financial Inc. and its group, in accordance with DTR 5, following the Company's initial public offering, of its interest in 18,000,000 ordinary shares of 100 pence each in the Company representing 8.18 per cent. of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.  The shares are held in the name of Littledown Nominees Ltd.

The Company was notified on 28 May 2009 by Aviva Plc and its subsidiaries, in accordance with DTR 5, following the Company's initial public offering, of its interest in 17,979,500 ordinary shares of 100 pence each in the Company representing 8.17 per cent. of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company. The shares are held in the name of the following registered holders:-
