Millwall Holdings PLC announces that Chief Executive Heather Rabbatts has stepped down as CEO of the Company, but will remain as a non-executive director on the board. Andy Ambler, Chief Operating Officer and Finance Director, will assume the role of acting CEO until such time as a final appointment is announced. 

Heather said 'After three years as Chief Executive and Deputy Chairman of Millwall I decided some time ago to step down as CEO and Deputy Chairman once this season was over. I have agreed to remain as a non executive director and in particular to promote the company's regeneration plans around the stadium. It has been a wonderful time and whilst we did not succeed achieving promotion I have no doubt with the continued support and leadership of the chairman, John Berylson, and with Kenny Jackett as manager of the football team, Millwall will attain the league status it so deserves. I am taking up the opportunity to chair ShedMedia, one of the leading film and TV production companies in the UK, but will continue to work with Millwall during the transition and as a non executive director in the future.'

John Berylson, Chairman, said, 'Since becoming Chairman I have worked with Heather to restructure the company, improve the performance both on and off the pitch and to promote the broader regeneration of the area. She has made an invaluable contribution and I am pleased that she will continue as a non executive director in helping us achieve our ambitions. Heather will continue to act as a key strategic advisor as I develop the company and seek to achieve our joint ambitions for the Company'

An announcement regarding the appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer will be made in due course.
