POST DELISTING MATCHED BARGAIN FACILITY

Reference is made to section 4 of the announcement dated 23 April 2009 and section 5 of the circular of even date regarding the proposed cancellation of admission of ordinary shares to trading on AIM. Terms defined in the said circular shall apply herein unless otherwise stated. The Board of Monterrico Metals Plc ('Monterrico' or the 'Company') announces that it has appointed Jarvis Investment Management plc ('Jarvis') to provide an off-market matched bargain facility for a period of 6 months following the delisting. 

Matched Bargain Facility Service

In order to participate in the service, each shareholder will need to open a dealing account (free of charge) with Jarvis and transfer their share holding, which may be in their possession or in the custody of their existing broker, into the Jarvis nominee account. 

Shareholders who wish to dispose of or acquire shares in Monterrico will telephone Jarvis with their order. Jarvis will build an order book and match buying and selling orders on an agency cross basis. 

On receipt of the monies from the buyer, the order will be crossed, contract notes will be issued to both buyer and seller, and the shares transferred into the buyers account and held in Jarvis's nominee account. Each instruction to buy or sell shares will incur a commission charge of ￡19.50, payable to Jarvis, when the order is executed. A transfer out charge of ￡10 + VAT will be levied should the relevant shareholder wish to re-register the shares into their own name.
