RESULTS OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The board of directors (the 'Directors') of Monterrico Metals Plc (AIM : MNA) (the 'Company') is pleased to announce that all the resolutions proposed were duly passed at the annual general meeting of the Company held earlier today.

Accordingly, it is expected that the cancellation of dealings in the Company's ordinary shares of 10 pence each from trading on AIM will take place at 7 a.m. (London time) on 3 June 2009, with the last day of dealings in the Company's shares on AIM being 2 June 2009.
