Annual General Meeting 

The Board of Just Car Clinics Group plc announces that, at the Annual General Meeting held earlier today, all of the resolutions, set out in the notice convening the meeting dated 6 April 2009, were duly passed.

During the meeting, David Hickey, the Chairman, made the following statement:

'The accident repair market is insulated, to some extent, from the wider economic climate, with much of the expenditure being necessary to maintain vehicles road worthiness and funded by compulsory vehicle insurance. However, reduced road usage results in fewer collisions and a significant proportion of the overall market is discretionary or dependant on excess payments by the customers. Conditions during 2009 have been challenging with underlying market repair volumes being adversely affected by the economic recession.  As a consequence of this, Just Car Clinics has seen a small decrease in like for like turnover of approximately 4% during the first four months of 2009 when compared to the equivalent period in 2008, this has been particularly evident in less mature locations. In order to minimise the impact of the difficult market, the Group has sought new business, particularly with fleet and local businesses, and has also reduced costs at locations where conditions make this necessary.

The Group has a strong balance sheet and mature management structure and the Board believe that Just Car Clinics is well placed to respond to the challenges of the market.'
