The Local Radio Company plc ('Local Radio' or the 'Company')
Board changes
The Board of Local Radio announces changes to the Local Radio Board following the announcement by UKRD Group Limited ('UKRD') on 12 May 2009, that its offer for the Company had been declared unconditional in all respects.
Trevor Smallwood, Chairman of UKRD, has been appointed Chairman of the Company, Tony Gumbiner having today stepped down from that role. Mr Gumbiner will remain on the Board as a Non-Executive Director.
William Rogers, Chief Executive of UKRD, has been appointed Chief Executive of Local Radio.
Roger Humm, Finance Director and Company Secretary of UKRD, has been appointed Finance Director and Company Secretary of the Company.
Tony Everett and James St Aubyn, both Non-Executive Directors of UKRD, have been appointed Non-Executive Directors of the Company. John Hepburn, Non-Executive Deputy Chairman of UKRD, has also been appointed a Non-Executive Director of the Company.
