Posting of 2008 Annual Report and Accounts

Restoration of Trading on AIM of Ordinary Shares

Sovereign Oilfield Group Plc (AIM: SOGP) announces that its Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 March 2008 has been posted to shareholders together with a notice convening the General Meeting of the Company ('AGM'). 

The AGM is scheduled to be held at the offices of Sovereign Oilfield Group PLC, 4 Queens Terrace, Aberdeen, AB10 1XL at 10.00 a.m. on 12 June 2009.  

It is anticipated that the Company's ordinary shares will be restored to trading on AIM at 7.00 a.m. on Tuesday, 19 May 2009.
