The Company has received a notification on 13 May 2009 from Deutsche Bank AG London stating that, on the basis that the relevant issued share capital of the Company is 87,777,778 ordinary shares, Deutsche Bank AG and its subsidiary companies have a notifiable interest in 3,088,612 ordinary shares of Engel, amounting to 3.52% of the issued share capital. Part of this holding may relate to hedging arrangements for customer transactions.
