     On May 13, 2009, Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation ('NTT') announced that it has filed with the Tokyo Stock Exchange and other stock exchanges in Japan supplementary data relating to its financial condition and results of operations at and for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2009. Attached please find an English translation of the information.  

     The consolidated financial information of NTT and NTT DOCOMO INC. included in the material was prepared on the basis of accounting principles generally accepted in the United States. The non-consolidated financial information of NTT and that of each of its other subsidiaries was prepared on the basis of accounting principles generally accepted in Japan.
