LONDON AND ASSOCIATED PROPERTIES PLC ("THE COMPANY")

On 1 May 2009 the Company issued 96,261 shares from Treasury for issue of
shares to senior staff in lieu of cash bonuses.

The Company now holds 4,491,424 shares in Treasury. For reporting purposes
under section 198 of the Companies Act 1985 the market should exclude any
shares held in Treasury and use an issued share capital figure of 77,825,548
shares.
