THURSDAY, 23 April 2009 --The Company has received a notification on 22 April 2009 from Deutsche Bank AG London stating that, on the basis that the relevant issued share capital of the Company is 87,777,778 ordinary shares, Deutsche Bank AG, and its subsidiary companies have a notifiable interest in 4,588,612 ordinary shares of Engel, amounting to 5.23% of the issued share capital. Part of this holding may relate to hedging arrangements for customer transactions.
Deutsche Bank AG is a corporation domiciled in Frankfurt, Germany, of which Deutsche Bank AG London is a branch.
