Cambridge Mineral Resources plc, the mining exploration and production company, announces that  Mr
Neil  Maclachlan, Non-Executive Chairman, has resigned with effect from 10 April 2009 for personal
reasons.

The  Board would like to thank Neil for his contribution to the development of the Company over
the years and wishes him well for the future.
