Director's Dealing

Archipelago Resources Plc ('Archipelago' or the 'Company') has been notified that on the following three dates, Mr. Patrick Alexander, a Non Executive Director of the Company, purchased Ordinary Shares of 1p each in the Company:

170,000 shares on 25 March 2009 at a price of 8p per Ordinary Share; 

30,000 shares on 26 March 2009 at a price of 9p per Ordinary Share; and

50,000 shares on 27 March 2009 at a price of 11p per Ordinary Share. 

Following these transactions, Mr. Alexander's holds 250,000 Ordinary Shares in the Company, representing 0.082% of the Company's total voting rights.
