Safeland Plc ('Safeland' or the 'Company') announces that it was notified today that on 25 March 2009, Safeland Holdings (2008) Corporation acquired 309,743 ordinary shares of 5p each ('Ordinary Shares') in the Company, at 10p per share, taking their holding to 64.41% of the Company's issued ordinary share capital
Larry Lipman, Errol Lipman, Ray Lipman (each, Directors of the Company), Steven Lipman and Safeland Holdings (2008) Corporation ('SHC8') (together 'the Lipman Concert Party') are treated as acting in concert for the purposes of the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers. As a result of this transaction, the total holding of the Lipman Concert Party is now 11,981,066 Shares (71.10% of the Company's issued ordinary share capital), and is made up as follows:
