Resignation of adviser

The directors of Smallbone announce that Teathers, a division of Straumur-Burdaras Investment Bank hf., has tendered its resignation as the Group's Nominated Adviser and Broker with immediate effect.

If Smallbone has failed to appoint a replacement Nominated Adviser by 19 April 2009, the admission of the Group's shares to trading on AIM will be cancelled.
