Board Change

Advanced Power Components (AIM: APC), the UK specialist distributor and manufacturers' representative of electronic components, is pleased to announce the appointment of William David as Non-Executive Chairman with immediate effect, following the retirement of Rex Thorne.

William David, 57, has been a Non-Executive Director on the Board of APC since 1 August 2007. He has more than 20 years' experience working in corporate advisory and broking roles for small to mid cap companies, working on a number of flotations, acquisitions, disposals, public takeovers and secondary fundraisings across a range of sectors. William is also a Non-Executive Director of Cello plc. 

Commenting on the Board change, Mark Robinson, CEO of Advanced Power Components, said:

'On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Rex for his significant contribution to APC and wish him well with his a very happy retirement.
