Board Changes
Network Group Holdings plc announces the following board changes effective from
today.
Christopher Ross has resigned as Chairman and as a director of the Company. The
Board wishes to thank Christopher for the pivotal role he has played in the
Company's development since flotation and wishes him every success for the
future.
David Waller has been appointed to the Board as non-executive Chairman.
David John Waller (aged 57) joined Deloitte Haskins & Sells, a predecessor firm
of PricewaterhouseCoopers, in June 1984 and was admitted to partnership in the
Management Consultancy Practice in April 1985. He has held a number of
partnership positions in subsequent firms following the merger in 1990 of
Deloitte Haskine & Sells and Coopers & Lybrand and the merger in 1998 of
Coopers & Lybrand and Pricewaterhouse. During the six years to December 2008 he
was Senior Partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers Birmingham office and Chairman of
PricewaterhouseCoopers Midlands Region. He retired from the firm on 31 December
2008. Prior to joining the professional firm, he held senior management
positions in a number companies following his graduation from U.M.I.S.T. in
July 1973. David is now a director of The British Edutrust Foundation and a
Trustee of The Kalisher Scholarship.
