SCOPING STUDY UPDATE

Maghreb Minerals Plc ('Maghreb' or 'the Company'), the AIM-quoted exploration company developing base metal and industrial mineral deposits in Tunisia, North Africa, is pleased to provide an update regarding the Scoping Study on the Gite de l'Est deposit within the Bou Jabeur Exploration Permit being undertaken by Scott Wilson Limited ('Scott Wilson').

Scott Wilson has been requested to carry out further analysis which is expected to be completed within the next two weeks, following which the Company expects to be able to publish the conclusions of the Scoping Study.
