Issue of Shares

The Board of Block Shield (AIM: BLS) announces that 20,000 Ordinary Shares of 1p each (the 'New Shares') have been issued at a price of 7p per share as payment in lieu of cash for professional fees to the Company's legal advisers.

The New Shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary share capital of the Company and have been allotted and issued credited as fully paid.

Application has been made for the New Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and dealings are expected to commence on or around 17 February 2008.
