Block Shield Licensee Awarded Strategic Conditional Contract with Essential Gaming, Inc.

Agreement centers on revolutionary new technology for improving casino security and 

player management

Block Shield Corporation plc, powering customer success through leading Radio Frequency Identification ('RFID') applications, is pleased to announce that its RFID gaming technologies licensee, Mu-Gahat Enterprises ('Mu-Gahat'), has been awarded, conditional on completions of successful test installations, a $3 million strategic contract for installations scheduled over a two year period with Essential Gaming, Inc. ('Essential Gaming'), a leader in the creation of customized business solutions for the gaming industry. Following successful completion of initial test installations, under the agreement, Essential Gaming will install Mu-Gahat's table gaming systems in card room casinos with which it has relationships. In addition, Essential Gaming, will become the exclusive California distributor of Mu-Gahat gaming products to the California Card Room Casino Market.

Mu-Gahat's secure playing cards and chips, based on Block Shield's proprietary RFID technology, will allow casinos to both enhance and better target player rewards programs, while deterring counterfeiting, card-counting and other bad behavior, dramatically enhancing both casino profitability and reputation. Additionally, Mu-Gahat continues to strengthen its relationship with International Business Machines Corporation ('IBM') / Avnet Technology Solutions ('Avnet') by partnering with the companies to provide worldwide on-site post-installation service. As announced on September 2008, Mu-Gahat is participating in the Industry Solutions Reseller program with Avnet and IBM.

The Chief Executive Officer of Essential Gaming, Inc. commented: 

'We looked at other technologies designed to enhance table game management but this technology is truly unique; providing us with the performance and functionality features necessary to change the way table games is managed. This technology provides us with the tools to be able to 'lock-down' each table to achieve an extraordinary level of security and control that will substantially impact profitability.'

Block Shield has also entered into discussions with several other leading casino suppliers on licensing Block Shield's RFID gaming technologies.
