Interbulk Group plc (the "Company") received notification that David Rolph,
Non-executive chairman of the Company, acquired 100,000 ordinary shares in the
Company on 5 February 2009 and 57,333 ordinary shares in the Company on 6
February, all at a price of 2.25p per share, representing approximately 0.05
per cent. of the Company's total voting rights.
