Transaction in Own Shares

Leeds Group announces that on 5 February 2009 it purchased 150,000 of its own Ordinary Shares to be held in treasury. The shares were purchased at 14p each.

As a result of the above purchase, the total number of Ordinary Shares now held in treasury is 3,700,658 and the number of remaining Ordinary Shares in issue is 29,399,342.

The holding of Mr. Johan Claesson, a director of Leeds Group, remains unchanged at 7,978,050 Ordinary Shares. As a result of this latest purchase of shares to be held in treasury, Mr. Claesson's holding now represents 27.14% of the Ordinary Shares in issue.
