Termination of offer period

The board of Watford Leisure announces that, following its announcement on 25 April 2008, in which it confirmed that the Company had received a tentative approach from a third party, those discussions have terminated with no offer being made for the Company. Other discussions similarly ended with no offer being made for the Company and no further approaches have been made.

As such, following consultation with the Panel on Takeovers and Mergers, the company is no longer in an offer period for the purposes of the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers.
