Appointment of Non-Executive Director

ServicePower (AIM: SVR), a market leader for outsourced service and field management, is pleased to announce the appointment of Rudolph (Rudy) Edward Burger, aged 50 as a Non-executive Director of the Company. 

Rudy is a U.S.-based entrepreneur with a background predominantly in the information technology sector. He is currently the Managing Partner of Woodside Capital Partners, an investment bank providing M&A advisory services to emerging growth companies.

Rudy was appointed as Chief Executive of Scipher Plc in November 2003 in order to restructure the group. As part of this restructuring exercise, Rudy successfully disposed of various Scipher group companies before putting Scipher Plc and its remaining subsidiaries into administrative receivership in September 2004.

There are no other disclosures required by paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 to the AIM Rules.
