Neptune Minerals plc ("the Company") (AIM: NPM) announces that it was
notified  today  (19  January  2009)  that  Mr  John  Allan  Goodwin,
Non-Executive Chairman of the Company, bought 90,000 ordinary  shares
on 19 January 2009 for a total consideration of A$1,305.90.

Following the above transaction, Mr Goodwin's beneficial interest  in
the Company is as set out below:
