APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
China Eastsea (AIM: CESG), which provides information technology and business process outsourcing services, announces the appointment of James Anthony Heyworth-Dunne to replace Richard Sermon as an independent, non-executive Director of the Company. Mr Heyworth-Dunne's appointment will take effect immediately.
China Eastsea wish to formally acknowledge the valuable contribution that Richard Sermon has made to the Company during his tenure as non-executive Director, in particular his involvement in providing valuable corporate governance advice.
Mr. Heyworth-Dunne, aged 64, worked in the City of London from 1965 to 2004. During that time he achieved senior management positions in a number of prominent firms specialising in investment and corporate advisory work. In particular Mr. Heyworth-Dunne held positions as a Board Director of NM Rothschild & Sons, Managing Director of Investment Management at Norwich Union plc, and Head of Global Investment Strategy at Mercury Asset Management Ltd. Mr. Heyworth-Dunne is a graduate of Cambridge University and qualified for the Bar at Middle Temple
This experience and his corporate leadership will further enhance the commitment of the company to fulfil its responsibilities to all shareholders.
As part of his duties Mr Heyworth-Dunne will also become Chairman of the Audit Committee, and a member of both the Remuneration Committee and Nomination Committee.

Mr. Heyworth Dunne is interested in 300,000 ordinary shares of the Company, or 0.41 per cent of the Company's issued share capital.
There are no further matters which are required to be announced with regard to this appointment under paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules for Companies.
