DIRECTOR DEALINGS

Interbulk Group plc ('Interbulk' or the 'Company') received notification that Jim McColl, a director of the Company, bought 3,500,000 ordinary shares on 16 December 2008 at a price of 2.3214p per share, and 2,300,000 ordinary shares on 17 December 2008 at a price of 2.75p to bring his total holding to 16,711,661 shares, representing approximately 5.52 per cent. of the Company's total voting rights.
