EUROPEAN CONVERGENCE PROPERTY COMPANY PLC

European Convergence Property Company PLC ('ECPC' or 'the Company') announces that on Friday 12 December 2008 it purchased for cancellation 80,000 Ordinary Shares in the Company through Panmure Gordon at a price before expenses of EUR 0.09.

As a result of these purchases and cancellations, ECPC will have 62,616,333 Ordinary Shares of EUR 1.00 each in issue.
