Resignation of Group Finance Director

The Board of Monterrico announces that on 3 December 2008 its Group Finance Director, Ms. Shan Shan Li, tendered her resignation in order to pursue other business opportunities.  It is currently envisaged that Ms. Li will remain in her current role until 3 June 2009 however this is still being discussed with the board.

Monterrico has commenced the process of finding a successor, whose appointment will be announced in due course.

Huang Xiaodong, Monterico's Chief Executive, said:

'Susan has made a significant contribution during her time at the Company since her appointment. We wish her all the very best for the future.'
