Empresaria Group plc ('Empresaria' or the 'Company') has today been notified that on 05 November 2008, Tony Martin, the Company's Chairman, acquired 373,750 ordinary shares of 5p each in Empresaria ('Ordinary Shares') at a price of 35 pence.

Following this transaction, Mr Martin has a total beneficial interest in 5,615,368 Ordinary Shares, representing 16.56 per cent. of the issued share capital of Empresaria.
