Director's shareholding

New Britain Palm Oil Limited ('NBPOL' or the 'Company')

The Company has today been notified that Nicholas Thompson, the Chief Executive Officer of NBPOL, purchased 13,500 ordinary shares on the London Stock Exchange on 28 October 2008 at a price of 143p.

Following this transaction, Mr Thompson holds a total beneficial interest in 363,521 ordinary shares, equivalent to 0.25 per cent. of the Company's current issued share capital.
