Suspension of Trading on AIM
The Company announces that it has requested that trading in its shares on AIM be suspended with immediate effect, pending clarification of the Company's funding arrangements. As announced on 31 October 2008, trading of the Company's shares was suspended on the Australian Stock Exchange ('ASX'), at the request of the Company, with effect from opening of the ASX on 3 November 2008.
Due to the nature of the Company's ongoing operational obligations, the cash position has decreased from that as stated for 30 September 2008 (as per announcement of the Quarterly Report made on 31 October 2008). The Company has entered into negotiations with creditors with a view to securing ongoing financial security of the Company. Zambezi is currently in discussions with various interested parties at a corporate and project level for ongoing financing of its Kangaluwi project.
