Notice of General Meeting
Watford Leisure announces that it has received a letter from one of its shareholders, Valley Grown Salads, requisitioning a General Meeting to consider various issues including an ordinary resolution for a vote of no confidence in the Board (the 'Resolution').
Accordingly, and as is required by company law, the Company is today sending to its shareholders a notice convening a General Meeting to be held on 1 December 2008.
The notice of General Meeting and an accompanying letter from the Chairman can be viewed at the Company's website www.watfordleisureplc.com.
It should be noted that Watford Leisure is in receipt of irrevocable undertakings from shareholders to vote against the Resolution in respect of approximately 54 per cent. of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.
