New Britain Palm Oil Limited ('NBPOL' or the 'Company')

The Company has today been notified that Michael A. St.Clair-George, an Non-Executive Director of the Company, purchased 109,436 ordinary shares on the London Stock Exchange on 29 October 2008 at a price of 145p.

Following this transaction, Mr St.Clair George holds a total beneficial interest in 209,436 ordinary shares, equivalent to 0.14 per cent. of the Company's current issued share capital.
