Notice of interest

The Company announces that on 31 October, 2008, it received notification that following a disposal on 27 October, 2008, 11,188,572 voting rights associated with the shares formerly held by Firebird Global Master Fund, Ltd., for which FGS Advisors, LLC serves as the investment manager and which is controlled by James Passin, have been disposed of.

Firebird Republics Fund, Ltd., still holds the voting rights associated with 1,818,571 ordinary shares of the Company, representing 1.29% of the total voting rights of the Company, and Firebird Avrora Fund, Ltd., still holds the voting rights associated with 2,470,000 ordinary shares of the Company, representing 1.75% of the total voting rights of the Company. 

Firebird Management, LLC serves as the investment manager of Firebird Republics Fund, Ltd., and Firebird Avrora Advisors, LLC serves as the investment manager of Firebird Avrora Fund, Ltd. and each of Firebird Management, LLC and Firebird Avrora Advisors, LLC is controlled by Harvey Sawikin, who controls the exercise of these voting rights.

In total, therefore, as all these parties are connected, Firebird Global Master Fund Ltd., Firebird Republics Fund Ltd., Firebird Avrora Fund Ltd., FGS Advisors LLC, Firebird Management LLC, James Passin and Harvey Sawikin each disclose an interest (either directly or indirectly) in 4,288,571 ordinary shares, representing 3.03% of the total voting rights of the Company.
