Directorate Change

The Group has decided to consolidate its US and UK stone operations under the Paris Ceramics brand. As a result, David Guthrie, the Chief Executive Officer ('CEO') of Paris Ceramics USA Inc. is leaving the Group and, in doing so, is also stepping down as a Director of Smallbone PLC. Michael Hemming, who has been responsible for the UK stone operations, is now assuming responsibility for the US also and becomes CEO of the Paris Ceramics brand in both countries.

Charles Smallbone, Chairman and Chief Executive, commented:

'David has been with the Group for over 5 years and has played a significant part in the building of the US operations of the Group. We thank him for his enormous contribution and wish him every success in the future.'
