Approval of Banking License in Laos

ICB Financial Group Holdings AG is pleased to announce that it has received
approval of a license from the Central Bank of the Lao PDR to establish a bank
to be known as International Commercial Bank Lao Limited ("ICB Lao") in Laos.
The official opening ceremony would be held on 8 October 2008.

The establishment of ICB Lao is in line with the Group's plan to expand its
banking network in Asia where it already has a presence in Indonesia and
Bangladesh.
