GENERAL MEETING

The board of directors of Electronic Data Processing PLC (the 'Company') announces that, at the general meeting held yesterday, a special resolution to approve amendments to the Company's articles of association to incorporate changes brought about by the Companies Act 2006 was duly passed. The full text of the resolution was included in the notice of the general meeting of the Company which was circulated to all shareholders on 9 September 2008.
