Update on placing of new ordinary shares

Oakdene Homes Plc (AIM:OKD), an established residential development company specialising in high quality new build and conversion properties in sought-after locations, announced on 9 May 2008 a placing of new ordinary shares to raise up to £10 million. On 4 June 2008 the Company announced that commitments had been received for the placing of 10,000,000 shares of 1 pence each at 50 pence per share, with attached warrants.

Certain commitments for 1,012,892 shares are no longer expected to complete and the Company is taking advice regarding its legal position.

The number of shares issued pursuant to the Placing is 8,987,108.
