NOTICE OF GENERAL MEETING

The board of directors of Electronic Data Processing PLC (the 'Company') announces that it has issued a circular to shareholders including a notice of a general meeting of the Company which will take place on Thursday 2 October 2008 at 12 noon at the offices of Olswang Solicitors, 90 High Holborn, London WC1V 6XX.

The purpose of the general meeting is to propose a special resolution to approve amendments to the Company's articles of association to incorporate changes brought about by the Companies Act 2006.
