Smallbone plc (the 'Company')

Additional Listing and Total Voting Rights 

Application has been made to AIM for admission of 2,226,157 Ordinary Shares of 5p each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares') to trading. These Ordinary Shares, which will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing shares in issue, have been allotted pursuant to the acquisition of CPBEC Inc. (trading as Christopher Peacock Cabinetry) which was announced on 2 September 2008. Admission is expected to become effective on 5 September 2008. 

For the purposes of the Financial Services Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, the total number of Ordinary Shares of Smallbone in issue on the date of admission will be 24,971,714 with each share holding one voting right. 

The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company, under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
