Salman Rahman Released from Detention

Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (the 'Company') announces that Mr. Salman F Rahman, Vice-Chairman of the Company has been released from detention. He was initially detained under the Special Powers Act on 5 February 2007. The honourable High Court of Bangladesh granted bail to Mr. Rahman and he was subsequently released on 27 August 2008.
