Major new order

Nature Technology Solutions Ltd , the AIM listed environmental group providing waste treatment services to the ports and oil industries, announces that it has received a confirmed order for a containerised oily slops treatment system to be delivered to a major oilfield service company in Kazakhstan within 2008. This unit is to be commissioned for operation on a man-made island in the Caspian Sea where environmental requirements now require treatment of polluted wastewaters generated during drilling operations.   

This order, together with the continuing successful operation of the Group's rig based Offshore Treatment Unit ('OTU') on a large drilling rig offshore Norway (where polluted water generated on the rig is being treated to significantly under 10 particles per million (ppm) of hydrocarbon pollution, compared with the recent standards of 50 ppm set for many years as a North Sea target) demonstrates the progress being made towards both the zero pollution target now required in Norway and reduced pollution from drilling generated wastewaters worldwide.
