Admission of New Alterian Shares

On 16 May 2008, the boards of Alterian plc and Mediasurface plc announced that they had reached agreement on the terms of a recommended cash and share offer to be made, subject to shareholder approval by Alterian for the entire issued and to be issued 
share capital of Mediasurface. The Offer was declared unconditional in all respects on 9 July 2008.

In connection with the Offer, application has been made for the Admission of a further 155,395 Consideration Shares and it is expected 
that Admission and dealings in such Consideration Shares will commence on 23 July 2008. This is in addition to the 12,753,619 New 
Alterian Shares in respect of the Issue and the Offer which were admitted on 9 July 2008.

The expressions used in this announcement, unless the context otherwise requires, bear the same meaning as in the Offer Document dated 
9 June 2008.
